The Exhibit and Gallery:
Located at 237 N. Salem Street in downtown Apex, the Halle Center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building is currently programmed with instructional and leisure classes and performances by the Town of Apex Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. The main floor boasts art galleries and the second floor a 135 seat auditorium. While square footage has been added, most historically significant architectural features have been restored and preserved making it a charming location to feature our artwork. We are working with the Halle Center to deliver a terrific exhibit of our art in this impressive locale.
Dates and Cost:
The show runs from July 22 to September 1. WSNC is scheduled to drop off work on Saturday, July 22, between 9 am and noon. The cost for submitting is $15 per one painting or $25 for two paintings, to help defray the cost of the reception and benefit WSNC. Public reception is on Friday, July 28, from 6 to 8 pm at the Halle. Pick up of unsold artwork is Friday, September 1, between 10 am and 5 pm.
You may deliver your pieces directly to the Gallery on this date, or make arrangements with others to bring them to the Halle Center.
Fillable entry form and label template are attached. The back of your painting(s) must have a label adhered in the upper left hand corner.
• The Halle Cultural Arts Center publicizes its events online on our website (www.thehalle.org) and in the form of an email blast, distributed via email.
